A Call To Arm

Every week, Former Marvel Comics Editor Nate Cosby™ has a contest on Twitter called "Nate Would Like To See" (If you speak HashTag, that's "#NateWouldLikeToSee"). The rules are simple... Nate says what he would like to see and you draw it.

Of course, there is a time limit, and I blew the deadline. But having drawn and inked the piece once the Prestigious Seven finalists were announced, I decided to finish coloring for my own amusement. And yours, if you are so inclined.

What #NateWouldLikeToSee this past week was "An Arm." I went with a KILL BILL scene. I'm a Tarantino obsessive (like many of us nerds), and I really dig the KILL BILL films. I have had a whole series of KILL BILL pieces planned for years, and I've even finished a few. This piece has sparked the fire in me yet again. I've been looking at old sketches and thumbnails the past couple weeks. So maybe I'll be posting more in the near future.

Or not. I'm kind of flighty like that.
