Sweet Fancy Moses, it's been awhile since I posted. You guys don't want to hear about the hardware/software issues that come with upgrading your entire system and all that and the other stuff, do you? Pretty much just "shut up and get to the art, Shawn" then? I wholeheartedly agree.
Appropriate that my last piece on dA was of Lady Blackhawk and my first piece back is Starling, a character more or less created to fit the DC New 52's Zinda Blake-shaped hole (Starling's co-creator Duane Swierczynski is quoted about that in this interview: [link]

Anyway, I had a Twitter friend recommend the "Birds of Prey" relaunch, and it's really good stuff. Starling is by far the scene-stealer. I'm liking the way Swierczynski writes her and I LOVE the character's design. But whoever decided to create an action-oriented character with a sleeve of tattoos is just a glutton for punishment.
