It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

Catch Up

Soooo much catching up to do.

It's been a hectic few months at McGone International HQ*. I finally got married (yay) and have been dealing with a few persistent, odd health issues (boo hiss), so my deviantArt time has been less and less. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things (I really threw off my art momentum), and I'm looking at a stockpile of great artwork from my Watches.

And a lot of Faves. I really try to keep up with personally thanking all my faves, but that doesn't always happen. "Too many Faves to keep up with" is a good problem to have, but I want everyone who stops by and comments or faves or adds me to their Watch to know I appreciate it. dA is a great art community.

So, thanks to all reading this or stopping by. Let's get back to the art.

Congratulations on the wedding! I know how these realLife GOOD experiences can mess with the drawing time. On the other hand, for a good chance to catch on some projects too afterwards. I drew SO much on my honeymoon (oops)... I'm in the hospital now, with my second child newborn, and am catching up on commissions while I have a moment. Once we go home, it's going to be tough!

hahahah man you should see my 2.5 yr old daughter. She's gone from demanding drawings of buses, fish and robots, to DOING them. They look like mad scribbles, but I like the effort.
